A checklist template is necessary to generate checklist instances. We call single checklists in our product “instances” of “templates” because they derive from a template.
At this point you can only create a checklist if you generate it from a template. So templates are the beginning of your productive usage of our checklists app.
You create a checklist in the admin area:

Open the “Templates” section in the admin area
Create, manage and edit templates
Create a new checklist template
