We use Confluence and Jira - I have seen diagrams created with a ‘free’ draw.io website where users store diagrams on their computer or Confluence. What does the licensed/data center version add?
Our organization would not want diagrams stored in public repositories like Onedrive or DropBox.
Does the paid version allow controls for where one can store (e.g. just confluence or local?)
For Data Center (and server), draw.io is designed to be locked down. Data is only saved on the Confluence instance and there’s no save options to cloud storage.
For Confluence Cloud, it’s basically the same thing. Diagrams are always stored only on the confluence instance and there is no save option to cloud storage to improve compliance with data security.
