Apart from the clear differences of how Jira is implemented on Cloud as opposed to Server/DC, not much. The draw.io editor in both has the same codebase, and diagrams are stored as issue attachments.
draw.io for Cloud is more advanced and development progresses faster than the draw.io for Server/DC.
Advantages of draw.io for Jira Cloud:
- PDF export uses a more suitable technology in cloud, so styling, font support and a number of other details perform better there.
- Binary file import such as .vsd files are supported by default in Cloud.
- PlantUML import is only supported in Cloud.
- Mathematical typesetting is only supported in Cloud.
