I would like to restrict a comment on a Jira issue to a group of admins. Background, the comment really doesn’t interest a regular user and would just fill up their comments. Is that possible?
Hi, yes, it’s possible and really easy to do.
Right underneath the comment you see the button "
“Viewable by All Users”. Click it and pick “Administrators” and “Add” your comment as usual.
Right away you will see your comment as “Restricted to Administrators” in red:
