Hi, I’ve got a question regarding the language manager. When I insert a new version for a new language is this version by default per-populated with the content of the original page for easier translation?

the Language Manager doesn’t create new pages - it links pages in
different languages with the same content. For your requirement, you can
simply copy the page in order to have the content from the original
page, translate it and link the two pages via the Language Manager.
