Can I deactivate the feature automated watching of a page in Confluence?
Yes, on top of the Confluence page you see the menu with the little eye, click on it and you can deactivate the watch there:
Also, if you only want to do it in certain cases of editing the page, at the bottom, next to the Save button you can uncheck the box for that particular time:
